🧭 My Story
Before I found swimming, I was all about martial arts, parkour, surfing, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. But in the summer of 2021, I reluctantly joined a SAIL team—and to my surprise, I realized I was a pretty good swimmer.
That spark turned into full-blown fire. I started year-round club swimming shortly after and never looked back. I’m now in my fifth year of competitive swimming and train with the National Team at Y-Spartaquatics, where I’m a 13-time state champion, state record holder as a member of the 13/14 200 medley relay team, and team record holder in the 13/14 100 and 200 Backstroke as well as a long course and short course YMCA National qualifier.
I am a freshman varsity swimmer for Woodmont High School (I began in 7th grade) and have earned Rookie of the Year, team MVP in 8th and 9th grade, and was named All-Region each year. I’ve represented Woodmont all three years at the 5A D2 State Championships and this past year placed 5th and 7th overall in my individual events.
As a 7th grader, I represented South Carolina as a scoring member of the 2023 Zones Team and was named a South Carolina All-State swimmer. I also swam summer league with Forrester Woods for the past three years, where I was an MVP, record holder, and high point winner. This coming year I will be joining the Sugar Creek Sharks and am excited to see what we can accomplish!
I love helping younger swimmers to learn and fine-tune their technique and build confidence in the water. I'll be stepping into my first year as an official coach for Freedom Swimming, after apprenticing for the last two. If you have a swimmer wanting to strengthen their strokes, turns, dives, and under-waters, I'd love to help. I'm also taking students just learning strokes and other racing mechanics. I work with children 5 years of age and up but they must be able to swim half the length of the pool in freestyle. It doesn't need to be good, but they need to understand the fundamentals, head position, etc. I look forward to seeing you and your children at the pool!
